# Street Crime directory banner kit September 2026 neon harbour campaign, prepared for the owner-authorized directory submissions. Use [index.html](index.html) to preview and download individual assets, or unpack [street-crime-directory-banner-kit-2026-09.zip](street-crime-directory-banner-kit-2026-09.zip). Every placement should link to **https://street-crime.com/**. | Size | Intended placement | Available formats | | --- | --- | --- | | 728 x 90 | Directory leaderboard | JPG, GIF, SVG, animated SVG | | 468 x 60 | Compact directory banner | JPG, GIF, SVG, animated SVG | | 300 x 250 | Sidebar or content card | JPG, GIF, SVG, animated SVG | The JPGs are 15-31 KB and the GIFs are 54-114 KB in decimal units. Exact byte counts and SHA-256 checksums are in [manifest.json](manifest.json). Filenames include size and campaign date. Upload a JPG when a publisher restricts motion or file types. BrowserGamesTop's free listing accepts the 728 x 90 JPG; its 10 September submission form reserves animated GIFs for paid Premium accounts. No paid upgrade was selected. The GIF and animated SVG headline changes from "BUILD YOUR EMPIRE" to "RUN WITH YOUR CREW" and back. Each plays two eight-second cycles, then settles on the first headline. SVG also respects `prefers-reduced-motion: reduce`. GIF cannot read that preference; use the JPG fallback where the publisher supports responsive image selection. The preview page demonstrates this. SVG files contain embedded raster artwork and the existing official wordmark, with vector layout, text and CSS motion. They are self-contained and contain no JavaScript or remote asset dependencies. Text can vary slightly with the viewer's fonts; the raster files preserve the reviewed rendering. ## Artwork and source The new harbour scene was generated with the **built-in image_gen tool** using the complete [saved prompt](source/prompt.txt). The project copy of the generated master is [source/harbour-neon-master.png](source/harbour-neon-master.png), 2172 x 724. This is promotional illustration, not a gameplay screenshot. No gameplay UI or new logo was generated. The compositions reuse the existing `game/images/newlayout/streetcrime-logo-neon.png` wordmark. Style references: `.claude/skills/image-dev/SKILL.md` and the public homepage's pink, indigo and near-black palette. The prompt asks for a rainy night harbour, a black muscle car and a silhouetted adult, with a quiet area for branding. The source has no generated text; all copy was added in the SVG layout. These are Street Crime / DHEWY LTD marketing assets. This kit does not grant an open licence. Use for the owner's authorized Street Crime placements. The download ZIP contains the exports, preview, manifest, this guide and exact prompt. The generated master and build scripts are retained in the repository. ## Rebuild From this directory, run `python3 build.py`. Required tools: Python 3, ImageMagick (`convert`), gifsicle, Node.js, Playwright and Google Chrome. The renderer blocks network requests and uses only embedded assets. If Playwright is installed outside normal Node module resolution, set `SC_BANNER_PLAYWRIGHT` to its module directory. `SC_BANNER_NODE` can override the Node executable and `SC_BANNER_CHROME_CHANNEL` the installed browser channel. A rebuild uses the saved artwork; it does not call image generation again. Raster bytes can vary with tool/font versions; the manifest is regenerated. Reviewed in Chromium: all three static layouts, changing SVG headline, reduced motion stopping the SVG and selecting the JPG fallback. All exports were checked for dimensions, checksums and embedded-only SVG resources. Each GIF has nine frames over eight seconds and one additional repeat, with visibly distinct headlines and a return to the original headline.
